Bucky's Epiphany
Hand-Printed Woodcut, Oil based ink on 80 lb paper

This print depicts Buckminster Fuller at the time of his epiphany. He was 32 years old, a penniless failure in the manufacturing business, and contemplating killing himself so that his wife and new daughter could benefit from the life insurance policy. He felt as if he were several feet off of the ground, enclosed in a ball of white light, and a voice from within told him ; “From now on you need never await temporal attestation to your thought. You think the truth. You do not have the right to eliminate yourself. You do not belong to you. You belong to Universe. Your significance will remain forever obscure to you, but you may assume that you are fulfilling your role if you apply yourself to converting your experiences to the highest advantage of others.”

A signed, 9"x12" print on 11"x14" paper. Printed by hand, by yours truly. Comes in a crystal clear protective bag with backing board. Price includes shipping.
